A few days ago I went to hospital with high fever and possibly appendicitis.
Finally, after a convincing ultrasound examination, I gave in and agreed to have it removed. The best decision!
They removed it via three little holes through which they inserted a little camera and tools. The technique is called laparoscopic appendectomy. Unfortunately, I did not ask them before the operation to record it. Here is a video of a similar operation I found on youtube.
Really cool stuff! I was able to leave hospital just 2 days afterwards.
